OurĀ work is funded through a variety of grants and charitable contributions, and there are many ways you can support our work and mission.
As a 501(c) (3) not for profit organization, we rely on donations to help us provide our services.Ā There are many ways to provide donations to the Freedom Center for Independent Living including:

Donate Goods
FCIL is currently in need of the following donated items:
- Books (to help build our consumer library)
- Laptops (for our computer lab and to help consumers with computer skills)
- iPads (for consumers who cannot use regular computers due to physical disabilities)
- Art Supplies (for consumer activities)

You can also help FCIL by volunteering your time!
We welcomeĀ volunteersĀ at our Middletown, Delaware location to assist with a variety of tasks.
Some sample TASKS include:
- Helping out our office staff with administrative tasks.
- Helping to organize and being a part of special programs.
- Giving presentations at FCIL,
- and more, depending on your special skills!
